Paul N. Spellman: Old 300 Gone to Texas
Mr. Spellman presented his new book, Old 300 Gone to Texas, at the Nesbitt Memorial Library on Thursday, November 13, 2014. The book describes the journey of families, single men, widows and widowers of the "Old 300". They came to Texas from different states and countries to join Stephen F Austin in settling along and between the Colorado and Brazos rivers.
