The Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) and the Texas Film Commission collected over 300 home movies from Colorado County in VHS, 8mm and 16 mm formats for a massive digitization project. Nesbitt Memorial Library was designated as a collection site from March until April 16, 2011. DVD copies and the original movies were to be shipped to the participants within three months, but because there was more participation than expected, TAMI sent out notices that it could take at least a couple more months. |
