Book signing with author Ursula Keierleber

Ursula Keierleber will be signing her books, Pre-Christian beliefs of the Germanic peoples. Summary of the book: Fragments of ancient belief mingle with folklore and Christian dogma until the original tenets are lost in the myths and psychologies of the intervening years. The author tells how pagan beliefs have been represented and misinterpreted and throws light on the nature of pre-Christian beliefs, giving definitions of characters and places in Nordic mythology. The book stresses both the possibilities and the difficulties of investigating the lost religious beliefs of Northern Europe.
