The study of this book begins on January 19 @ 10 a.m. Group leader is Rev. Leah King. We will complete the study in three sessions, dates and times to be decided by the group. “If you have experienced great loss or felt lost in the darkness, you will see the light of new hope here.” So reads the front jacket of a new book by Paula D’Arcy, Stars At Night. Ms. D’Arcy, an Austinite, is an internationally known workshop and retreat leader on subjects including spirituality, grief, writing, and women’s issues. She is the founder of the Red Bid Foundation and serves as adjunct faculty at Oblate School of Theology and Seton Cove Spirituality Center. In Stars at Night, Ms. D’Arcy writes of her own experience of deep darkness, her emergence into the light and her coming to a “greater understanding of the human journey.”
